Leonardo Bezerra was born in the Northeast of Brazil in the 70s and mostly grew up on his father’s used car store floor, which lasted 40 years in business.
At 14 years old, in 1992, he started his business life, when encouraged by his father he started selling speakers, car stereos and bicycles until he saved enough money to buy his first car, a “yellow egg” 1968 VW beetle (Fusca in Brazil) and then with his parent’s support he built a successful business selling cars through high school, college and army times.
In 1999 as the family’s business was concentrated in pick-up trucks and trucks’ segment, so he decided to open a branch focusing on high-quality pre-owned cars, becoming independent.
During the 2000’s he learned more about the corporate world, got married and along with his wife opened businesses in different fields.
Seeking more challenges in life he moved to North Vancouver, BC in 2016 and started working as a Salesperson in a branded dealership, becoming Sales Manager in 2021, and that was the last step to ensure that the laboratory's time was over; his heart was beating fast, his entrepreneurial soul was thirsty for a new enterprise so he started to design how he would shift a, sometimes aggressive, traditional car dealership business model which stigmatized the “car salespeople” as retail predators, to develop a new concept based on his beliefs focusing on a smooth process, strong relationships, and transparency.
BR 101 is the longitudinal highway that connects Brazil from the Northeast to the South, crossing twelve states by the Atlantic coast, with 4,650 km is the longest and one of the most important road axes of the country. It is a tribute to the founder’s state where the highway begins.
